Monessie is a large comfortable family house in Findhorn, with spectacular
views of the bay and Culbin forest.
It has been in our family for more than fifty years. We would stay here
all year round if we could. Sadly, we cant, so we rent it out
for holiday or longer-term lets.
If you know Findhorn, the house is near the middle of the village, directly
overlooking the bay. It is set back from the road, and is surrounded
by a large garden. If you dont know Findhorn
come and see
what youve been missing.
Monessie faces south-west. The dining and sitting rooms, and two front
upstairs bedrooms, enjoy an uninterrupted view of the bay. On the ground
floor, there is a further large room, fitted as a bedroom, and a large
breakfast room and kitchen to the rear. There are a single and two double
bedrooms on the first floor. There is a WC downstairs as well as a bathroom
on the first floor. A garage, outbuildings, and large wall-enclosed
lawn is to the rear of the house.
The house sleeps eight people in comfort, although there are beds for
more if needed.
Monessie is available for short lets all year round, including long
weekends between October and June. We will also consider long term lets
between October and April. Prices range from £350 to £500
a week.
